Coralee Dutton is the youngest daughter of John Dutton's older brother Benjamin. John inherited the ranch because he was a rancher while his brother wasn't. There are no hard feelings, Benjamin is happy with his life and he loves his brother.

His daughter is the farmer of the family. She also has been showing horses since she was young and has gotten quite good at it. She is at the ranch because John wishes to buy her a top quality horse to show and he's asked Travis Wheatley to pick some out  to show her.

Beth has always hated Cotales. Coralee is younger and prettier and resembles the tragic Elsa Dutton. She also does not have Beth's drinking problem and tries to stay out her way, drunk or sober.

Travis has had his eye on Coralee for a long time.  He wants to go out with her, hell, he wants to sleep with her but she means more to him. He's a playboy and a rogue and he knows it, but maybe he could change his ways if she just gave him a chance. He's older and feeling the need to settle down and Coralee could make him change his ways.

Readers: I know ranching, I know horses, I studied equine science. Our instructor used to hire us out to his friends to drive their cattle for them. I participated in a cattle drive celebrating the San Antonio trail. This made this story more fun to write

This does not fit into any particular season, except when Travis shows up. I think Taylor Sheridan is hot and I like the character he plays

Alessandra's world fell apart when her sister Raffaella committed suicide rather than marry the son of a powerful mafia family. When they tried to make her marry him instead, she told them, "You marry me to Vittorio, he'll be dead in the morning, I promise."

When Vittorio Benedetti heard those words, he turned and told his father, "Forget it, they're not that important. I don't even want to marry the bitch, she's ugly."

Gianni Morandi had been gun running and heavily involved in the drug trade, but one of his lieutenants had turned on him and diverted the profits and Gianni had come up short for his payment to the powerful Carlo Benedetti. He had offered his daughter as a bride to Carlo's favorite son, Vittorio, but Raffaella had refused him. When he told her she would marry him whether she wanted to or not, Raffaella had said nothing, but the next morning he had found her dead in her bed, a bullet through her head.

Now Alessandra was not only not cooperating, she had threatened both Carlo and Vittorio. She was  stronger willed than her sister, and he was sure that she had meant every word that she said. She was beautiful, brilliant, and cold blooded, and he had no doubt that she meant what she said.

"Do you know what you did to me just now, you've declared war on the family, he lamented.

"Good," she said, "Because I am going to kill them to avenge Raffaella's death. You had better be careful, Father, I might kill you, too, after all, it's because of you my sister is dead."

I don't know why I wrote this, most mafia stories are stupid, maybe to point out they are writing stories that glorify evil people?

Mary Boleyn: The King's Concubine

Mary Boleyn:  Was she the "Great Prostitute", the French king's "English Mare"?  Her affair with King Henry lasted longer than his subsequent marriages--just who was she? Or was she Henry VIII's favorite mistress whose time with him lasted longer than his marriage to her sister Anne.

Mary Boleyn was the older of the two Boleyn girls, daughters of the up-and-coming Thomas Boleyn. He was able to obtain a position for her in the court of Mary Tudor, sister of King Henry VIII, when she was to be sent to France to be married to the ill and elderly Louis XII of France.

Mary Boleyn found herself caught up in the glitter and glamour of the court in France. Alone and unprotected, she fell prey to the charms of the handsome Francis. She became his mistress, unaware of what the consequences might be.

Francis broke her heart and in the meantime, gossip made its way across the channel and word of his daughter's conduct reached the ears of Sir Thomas. He hurried back to France to fetch his errant daughter and wondered how to deal with her disgrace.

He arranged a marriage for her with William Carey, a second son but a favorite of the king. His good looks appealed to Mary and she decided to make the best of it. She and Carey were married in the King's Chapel and Henry himself made an appearance at their wedding.

The lovely Mary drew the attention of the king. For herself, she would just as soon as ignore him, but her family sees her as a way to advance themselves and pushed her into becoming Henry's mistress.

Mary grew to love him, bearing him two children, but she is left unprotected when her husband dies of the sweating sickness for Henry has now tired of her.

Mary is not pleased to be replaced, especially when she is replaced by her younger sister Anne, but she has learned to rely on herself and is determined that she will make her own way, in spite of the king and her family.

I don't like the kind of vampire story where they come and take over and enslave humans or whatever.  I like my vampires to live unbeknownst in the human world going about their lives and business. My vampires don't keep human slaves, though they might be in love with one!

Steven and his girlfriend were walking home one night--and before they reach his dorm they are brutally attacked. He is sure that he is dying, for their attackers left them for dead. Now as he waits to die someone appears before him and asks if he wants to live.

Tristan saved his life; Tristan is a vampire

Tristan is over two thousand years old. He has seen life and death come and go. He takes pity on the 20-year-old Steven and takes pity on him and saves him in the only way he can--he turns him into a vampire and admits him into his world.

Now Steven has discovered the world of Tristan and Vampires

But Steven will find out that Tristan and his brothers are not the only vampires. There is a city beneath a city in Seattle--it's the "original" city, the foundation that was left behind by the great fire that burned the city in 1889. And there's one who takes an interest in him and is eager to help him when Tristan's lover Isolde is threatened by Rainer who has sworn revenge on Tristan.

A rogue vampire is a vampire who kills his own kind. He is shunned forever from the covens and will not be accepted into a family, unless have not heard of him, or do not care. A rgue vampire is cursed to forever live alone.

Rainer is a rogue, he has killed his own kind and therefore is not welcome in any vampire family. He has revealed the secret of Steven's existence to the underground family hoping they will take him in, but he's shunned and he's more determined than ever to kill Tristan--and will kill Isolde to get to him. Fabi, Claude, and Steven will do anything to stop him, but what if it means their own live?

For many years rumors have persisted that there are caches of gold, precious stones, and unguents that tomb robbers had dropped or hidden in their haste to escape the guards that watched over the Valley of the Kings. Roma Wilkes-Emberly thinks her father believes these rumors are true and is determined to find them.

Ardeth-Bey is the son of a sheikh of a Bedouin tribe that is friends with Wilkes-Emberly and his daughter Roma. Roma does not like Ardeth Bey, though she grew up with him, she finds him overconfident and arrogant. The fact that he is handsome only makes it worse.

Wilkes-Emberly has asked Ardeth for his help. He wishes him to accompany his daughter through the desert on a secret errand. Neither Ardeth or Roma are eager to do this, but her father is both evasive and persistent. Ardeth agrees, but on the condition that they will catch the boat at Minya for the remainder of the journey to Cairo.

Roma knows that something is wrong and she suspects that they will be transporting something valuable and will be a target for thieves--or worse.

Yes, I am showing off my knowledge of archaeology, Egyptology, Valley of the Kings, and Egypt in general

Constanzia Borgia has loved her cousin Cesare since childhood. Now widowed, her parents have sent her to her uncle the pope, in order to secure advantageous marriage for her--but they had not reckoned with Cesare.

Cesare Borgia was known for the beauty of his face, his clothes, and the beauty of his women, but behind that was the grasping, greedy heart of a Borgia for whom enough was never sufficient.  He has inherited the Borgia ambition, along with his siblings Juan, Gioffre, and Lucrezia. The minute Alexander VI seized the papal throne,  his blind greed set in motion the dooms of all his children.

The minute Cesare and  Constanzia lay eyes on each other,  they fall in love. After all, is he not her beloved cousin with whom she grew up?  Now childhood love has turned into a deadly passion that could destroy them both if their forbidden love is revealed.

The Heir to Lorien (Lord of the Rings)

This story got its start when I was in my twenties and didn't even know what fan fiction was! I lost a lot of my stuff, including several incarnations of this, but found a part of it and decided to re-write what I thought needed it. It's posted on Archive of Our Own, FanFiction, Wattpad, and Inkitt. I'm flattered that people seem to like it, or rather, some people seem to like it!

Longmire:  The Laws on the Rez--in progress

I was recently asked if I was going to continue writing this--the answer is yes, I've just been working on other projects and trying to wrap up three. This is my "response" fan fiction, because I don't like some of the characters. This is posted on FanFiction, Wattpad, and Archive of Our Own.

Update:  Posted new chapter "Homecoming"

Update:  May 1, 2019 Posted new chapter "Disappearing Woman". Walt, Alia, and Mathias are trying to concoct a "homegrown" operation to try to find the serial killer. In the mean time they are not aware that he has struck again, only this time there are three victims and one is not a woman.

Update:  June 13, 2019. Posted new chapter, "A Change in Pattern". It's 4:30 in the morning and Mathias receives a call telling him that 3 bodies have been found in the bed of an abandoned pickup. There is a young couple and a girl wrapped in a blanket. Alia cannot stand to stay behind for this one.

Penny Dreadful

This was mainly written while the series was on the air. It's sat for a while, but I have hopes of adding to it as it is obviously not complete. Posted on Wattpad, Archive, etec., and FanFiction

Outlander

Based on the Diana Gabaldon series.  I don't care if she doesn't like fan fiction, she doesn't have to. I have completed this fan fiction and don't foresee adding to it no matter how many more books she writes.  Posted on Wattpad, FanFiction.net, and Archive of Our Own. Cover was made for me by a staffer from Wattpad.

Black Sails and a Yellow Muslin Dress

One of my early fan fictions--can be read on FanFiction.net, Wattpad, Archive of Our Own. This is doing fairly well, though not outstandingly, as far as readership goes. I've had a lot of fun with this. This is posted on Wattpad, Archive of Our Own, and FanFiction.net.

Catherine Flint, sister to Captain Flint of the Walrus, has arrived in Nassau after an absence of two years. Rumors abound-she was on the run for robbing a Spanish viceroy, she impersonated a French duchess and was caught-but no one knows. Now Captain Charles Vane is determined to take back the love of his life, but how? And will the old feelings for Eleanor stand in his way?

Cathy Flint has a wild heart that will not be tamed. Charles Vane, John Silver, Billy Bones, even Governor Woods Rodgers fall prey to her charms. But is there someone she longs for? Someone from long ago? Will Cathy abandon the sea to find the one true love she longs for? Only time will tell.

This is a "Black Sails" fan fiction, because I just could not get enough of the show!
