Yellowstone: The Train Station

Anicka Perez Lansing's brother Benito mysteriously disappeared when he got a job as a hand on the Yellowstone Dutton ranch. But now it's been over a year and his family has not heard from him. he's disappeared without a trace.

Anicka made a bad marriage and  knew it after he beat her. She ran out in the middle of  the night with bare feet and her pregnant cat. Instead of sticking around for more, she returned home to her widowed mother. Her mother called the cops and it only took one look for the cop to realize how bad she'd been hurt. After he leaves, her mother takes her to the hospital to be examined to make sure she'll be all right.

The family huddles together to decide what to do. Her mother Paola and brother Ramon can support her for a few months, but both are shocked when she announces she is going to look for her beloved Benito.

His last known address was the Yellowstone so that is where she intends to start. She rides but not well enough to be a ranch hand. She can cook and muck stalls, that could -be enough to get her hired for something.

She can't wait soon to leave Texas and finds herself driving her father's old truck and heading up north. She had to leave her beloved cat behind, but her sister insists on giving her a half-grown German shepherd puppy to keep her company.

She gets to Montana and insinuates herself with the Duttons who offer a job mucking stalls. Soon, she hears about a mysterious place they call the "Train Station" and wonders if that is where her brother ended up.

The Duttons seem to have accepted her, but she is cautious, using her fake names and telling no one who she really is. She has a phone she uses to call her family but keeps it hidden.

Something is coming, she can feel it, and wonders if it has anything to do with the mysterious

Train Station.

I originally wanted it to be a Ryan/OC story, but Travis made his presence known and took over.

Originally titled "The Ghost Girl Chronicles". If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room.

Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey.

The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around.

Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.

Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to  kill little girls, and his sister Kit

Angela Lanzia loves two people: her sister Serafina and her brother Cesare who she calls Beppo. She hates being the child of a Mafia soldier and her one wish is to get Serafina, Beppo, and herself away from her family and leave their past behind them.

She's been Serafina's strength--she may be the younger of the two but she is the stronger.  She and her sister have graduated from college and have the means to support themselves but her father has told them that Serafina is to be married to the son of his capo. Serafina is devastated, this is not what she wants.

Though Angela assures Serafina that she can get them away, Serafina decides to take her life rather than submit. Angela finds her sister's lifeless body and knows that now is the time to go on the run.

Beppo gives her some names and some papers he has stolen. He makes Angela promise that she will send for him when he turns 18. She promises, not knowing this is the last time she will see her brother.

But something has happened that she did not expect, she and the young  FBI agent who has taken charge of her case have fallen in love. Will this put them in danger, or will she be able to avenge her beloved brother and sister?

I'm writing the story that I want to read that no one writes. Lots of arranged  mafia marriages and then they fall in love--I want a story where the girl rebels against this and fights back!
